quizás, quizás, quizás…:
It was already well after midnight when, to the rhythms of Argentine tango, energetic, passionate movements and swaying of the hips captured them in their cocktail of sensations. They were totally absorbed in each other, with filigree caution stepping on the edge of desire beyond sensuality. The air was heated to the limit, exciting hearts and stirring up the blood. Sometimes the thought "What's next?" burst into consciousness, and just as soon burned out in the furnace of sensations, touches and sighs. Everyone already knew: whether there will be a continuation of this meeting depends on them ...
Perfumer's Word:
"The 60s... the sensual ambience of the evening city... In the back seat of an authentic cab, an elegant couple returns from an evening spent in each other's company. Behind them, there's probably an exquisite dinner, delicious wine, pleasant conversation... And in front of them, the unknown... Maybe they'll spend an extravagant night of love, or maybe they'll arrive at her place, he'll gallantly open the back door, help her out, politely say goodbye and leave.....
Maybe... Or maybe not....
Quizás, Quizás, Quizás...
The famous song by the inimitable Nat King Cole is part of the soundtrack to one of my favorite films, the art-house melodrama "In the Mood for Love" by Hong Kong new wave director Wong Kar-wai, famous for his poetic cinematic language.
This is the only time I've ever influenced the plot of an artist's work illustrating a perfume, which turned out to be a direct reference to the film."
