Return and Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident and excited about exploring new scents through our curated decants and full bottle offerings. Please read our return and refund policy carefully, as we offer different terms depending on the type of product purchased.


Decants – No Returns or Refunds

All decants are made-to-order and are considered final sale. Because they are custom-prepared in sanitary conditions for each customer, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for decants.

Decants are intended to help you:

  • Sample a fragrance before committing to a full bottle.

  • Own a travel-friendly version of a scent you already enjoy.

If your decant arrives damaged or broken in transit, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We will gladly offer either:

  • A free replacement of the same decant (subject to availability), or

  • A store credit for the original item value.

Please note: Personal preference or disliking the scent is not a valid reason for return or refund.


Full Bottles – Return Policy

We accept returns of full-size, unopened and brand-new condition bottles within 5 days of delivery.

To be eligible:

  • The product must be in its original, sealed packaging.

  • You must contact us within 5 days of receiving your order to request a return.

Please email us at hello@rituelprive.ca to initiate the return. Once approved, we’ll provide the return shipping label. After we receive and inspect the item, and confirm it is in resellable condition, you will receive a refund to your original payment method (excluding original shipping costs and a 15CAD restocking fee).

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at hello@rituelprive.ca with photos of the issue. We will work with you to resolve it promptly.


Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Opened or used full bottles

  • Decants (as explained above)

  • Sale items or gift cards

  • Personal care goods (such as opened fragrance items)

  • Custom or personalized products

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@rituelprive.ca.
